Metalaxyl is a Systemic, phenylamide fungicide with protective and curative mode of action, acts by suppressing sporangial formation, mycelial growth and the establishment of new infections. Disrupts fungal nucleic acid synthesis – RNA ploymerase 1. It can be used as a soil treatment for control of soil borne pathogens and as a seed treatment to control fungal diseases.
