Triclopyr is a selective, systemic pyridine-based herbicide having post emergence, selective systemic action. It is used to control woody and herbaceous broadleaf plants along right-of-way’s, in forests, in grasslands and parklands. It has little or no impact on grasses.  Triclopyr controls target weeds by mimicking the plant hormone auxin, causing uncontrolled plant growth.
